WILDlife Series
Being a worshiper of color and a lover of wild animals, my “WILDlife Artwork Series” sprang forth just three years ago. To date, I have created three of these series: Colorado WILDlife, Arizona WILDlife and Louisiana WILDlife for representation of indigenous animals in three quite diverse regions of our country.
I strive to paint the wild animals in magnificent hues - sometimes natural, other times imaginary. Typically I fill my palette with warm, cool, metallic, neon or thematic colors. My WILDlife background color is always black, representing the absence of all light and color, leaving only the creature’s image in vibrant hues for the viewer’s eyes to behold. The bold black lines that contain and separate each color and shape represent my very first love...the coloring book!
